May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. With over 5 million cases diagnosed in the United States each year, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States. Fortunately, skin cancer is also one of the most preventable forms of cancer.

Without knowing about May awareness, last May I did my routine check at my dermatology, basically a full body scan to find new spots to take out. The scan is a little “invasive”, but I have a cute doctor so why not , no worries keeping my underwear on.Over the years I visited several doctors ,who on the safe side , took out several moles , and luckily they were benign.

Without knowing about May awareness, last May I did my routine check at my dermatology, basically a full body scan to find new spots to take out. The scan is a little “invasive”, but I have a cute doctor so why not , no worries keeping my underwear on.

Over the years I visited several doctors ,who on the safe side , took out several moles , and luckily they were benign.

But this time it was different !!! .Three weeks after the mole was taken out , I got a phone call , “we were trying to reach you , but looks like you need to go to specialist to further take out more skin of the impacted area”.

no worries , it’s not skin cancer , but I have active cells that need to be taken out or ….

So why I am telling you all that ? hope you figure it yourself , but really go for a check , even a self scan in front of the mirror can show some new spots with uneven colors .

I actually have a green mole, which for years my doc is checking and would like to take out , but its not really growing so I like to keep her 🙂

So bottom line , go check so the good life can continue .

Free tip , on the house .
